Collyhurst Nursery School and Neighbourhood Area 3 Children's Centres are based in the north of Manchester. Our Nursery School is a maintained local authority school led by qualified teachers and early years practitioners.

The nursery classroom is led by fully qualified and highly experienced teachers offering a range of critical educational expertise resulting in narrowing the attainment gap for our most vulnerable children. We have excellent links with outside agencies to support children with special educational needs and we have a qualified teacher to co-ordinate our special needs provision across the whole setting. There is much research to show that the teaching quality within maintained nursery schools' is consistently high for all children and that children make substantial progress, enhancing life chances. Our nursery classroom caters for children 3-5 years and currently offers 30 hour FULL TIME places for our nursery children. We have superb kitchen facilities that provide nutritional lunchtime meals which cater for a range of dietary needs.
